Michael Jordan Texted His Son Marcus This About His Odd Relationship with Larsa Pippen

Marcus Jordan, 32, believes that his father, Michael Jordan, is joking when he says that he doesn’t approve of his shocking relationship with Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife and Real Housewives of Miami star, Larsa Pippen, 48. The couple called in for a virtual interview on the podcast show, Pablo Torre Finds Out, to break down the status of their relations.

When Torres asked Jordan about his father’s feelings Marcus recalled when his father simply but sternly texted him, “You’re a grown adult, you’re a grown ass man.” He continued to confirm that his father is staying out of the drama, “He’s never intervened in my dating life prior to Larsa and he’s not going to start now.” This July Michael was caught by TMZ in Paris and when asked if he approved of his son’s love life he laughed and yelled, “No!” Marcus told Torres that his father is a jokester and was not serious when he responded that way, but admitted that Larsa was hurt that his father may not actually like them together.

This January the couple took to Instagram to announce that they were officially in a relationship. Larsa shared with Torres that she completely understands why people give her and Marcus the side eye, “I know aesthetically it probably doesn’t look good and I feel like when people see us together and hang out with us it makes sense.” She also says that Marcus checks all of her boxes, it’s just their last names that make things complicated.

This year has been a whirlwind as people express how awkward the nature of their relationship is given the rocky NBA history between Michael and Scottie and the couple’s significant age gap. Larsa and Scottie’s divorce was finalized last year. People also criticize Larsa for dating someone much younger than her while she has adult children, her oldest child is in his twenties.

Despite public opinion, the couple is not shying away from making future plans with each other. Marcus talks openly about marrying Larsa one day and in the interview even said that he wants his father to be his best man at the wedding. We will all be shocked if that actually happens!
