A 22-year-old Prince George’s County, Md., elementary school volunteer was arrested Friday for filming child pornography. On Wednesday the school's principal was placed on paid administrative leave.
According to ABC7, Deonte Carraway, who volunteered at Judge Sylvania W. Woods Elementary School in Glenarden, Md., is facing 10 counts of felony child pornography, sexual abuse of a minor and second-degree sexual offense. Carraway reportedly filmed students between the ages of 9 and 13 engaged in sexual acts. Investigators told the news station that they know of at least 10 children who were victimized.
The news station learned Wednesday that Michelle Williams, the principal of the elementary school, is on paid leave and has been questioned by the Prince George's County Public Schools internal employee-review body.
