Looks like the next launch from Pat McGrath Labs will truly be out of this world. A short time ago in a galaxy not at all far, far away, the most influential woman in makeup (yes, even beyond RihannaβMcGrath isnβt nicknamed βMotherβ for nothing) announced that for her next product release, sheβs partnered with Disney to create the limited edition Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Collection.
No, this isnβt a Jedi mind trick; McGrath has succeeded where many others have failed, launching a branded collection with perhaps the most famous film franchise in history.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker wonβt be in theaters until Dec. 19, but McGrathβs intergalactic collection will launch this Friday the 13th with two appropriately shimmery Mothership eyeshadow palettes: βGalactic Goldβ and βDark Galaxy.β The initial drop will also include three Star Wars-themed Lip Fetish lip balms, with a fourth dropping with the second rollout of the launch on Dec. 26, which will debut the Mothership IV: Star Wars palette.
βFor this brilliant collaboration with Disney which celebrates the intergalactic glamour of Star Wars, I have taken inspiration from the iconic beauty of Princess Leia to the gilded glamour of C-3PO,β McGrath told British Vogue (where she also serves as the magazineβs beauty editor-at-large). βItβs been so much fun playing with make-up and Star Wars, two of my favorite things. The collection summons the Force with interstellar shades and hypnotic textures.β
Interstellar travel doesnβt come cheapβand neither do McGrathβs products, though us ardent fans will assure you, itβs worth it. For the makeup lover who is equally obsessed with Star Wars, thereβs no better time to get into McGrathβs legendary pigments than the holidays; as Yoda would say, βDo or do not. There is no try.β βTis the season to treat yourselfβor someone you love!
At least, thatβs the justification weβll be using when we treat ourselves to another round of McGrathβs stellar pigments this holiday season (bonus: we can consider it our own version of cosplay when we go to see The Rise of Skywalker later this month). Besides, this release comes with a blessing from Mother herself: βMay the fierce be with you.β
