President Donald Trump might’ve just messed around with the right Democrat! Trump and Md. Gov. Wes Moore have been going back and forth online for days, and boy is it getting good…

As we previously reported, Trump is going after Black cities across the country over alleged issues of crime plaguing the streets. Despite statistics suggesting that the crime rate is improving in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, Trump has subjected both cities to federal control by sending in the National Guard.
Now, he’s threatening to send the guard to Maryland, but, if the president thinks it’s going to be easy, the state’s governor said he has another thing coming.
Trump has claimed cities like Baltimore, Chicago and Oakland are “too far gone” with their crime problems, we previously reported. In response, Moore extended Trump a formal invitation for the president to come to his state to see for himself.
“We hope you’ll come to see how we’ve built strong local partnerships and used data-backed solutions to deliver staggering drops in violent crime,” he said on X. Well, the president wasn’t a fan of Moore’s remarks, so he did what he does best, and that’s take to Truth Social to address it all.
He first declared Moore’s tone was “nasty and provocative” before saying, “I would much rather prefer that he clean up this Crime disaster before I go there for a ‘walk….’stop talking and get to work, Wes.” And this set off an unbelievable exchange between the two political leaders.
On Monday (Aug. 24), the governor took to X, and he did not hold back with the insults. “President Bone Spurs will do anything to get out of walking,” he started referring to the president’s recently disclosed health condition. “Even if that means spouting off more lies about the progress we’re making on public safety in Maryland,” he added.
“Hey Donald, we can get you a golf cart if that makes things easier. Just let my team know,” Moore clapped back. Hours later, he responded again: “Did Donald Trump, the President of the United States, lie about an injury to dodge the Vietnam draft?” Trump has previously denied these allegations.
Folks thought it was over as the president didn’t respond directly to Moore after that…but during a press conference in the Oval Office, Trump told reporters that Moore secretly told him “sir, you’re the greatest president of my lifetime.” In response, Moore simply said, “lol… Keep telling yourself that, Mr. President.”
Now, it seems the beef between the two men is settling down, but clearly Moore proved he’s prepared to go toe to toe with the president’s social media antics. Now, we wait to see exactly how Trump plans to move with Maryland.
