Folks on social media are outraged after self-proclaimed rappers Forgiato Blow and JJ Lawhorn dropped a song called “Good vs Evil.” On the record, the two MAGA men sing, “We need a big tall tree and a short piece of rope / hang ‘em up high at sundown.” If that wasn’t bad enough, Lawhorn continues the hook saying “Leave ’em swinging so the folks all know / you don’t mess around in our town.”

Expectedly, Black Americans are taking offense to the lyrics seemingly encouraging lynching– the Jim Crow era racist practice where Black men, women and children were hung in public. On X, @billkelley_24 sarcastically called the song “America at its finest right here.”

Other folks weren’t impressed by the song… at all. “Christ this song is ass,” @Salem_Flowers said.

@malikgeathers agreed saying, “Besides that song being racist, that song by Forgiato Blow is dog sh*t lol, how do yall listen to that?”

@Leavell_Yung had only two things to say on the matter. “1.He’s definitely klan involved 2. Where the fuck is the Rico for these bitches,” he wrote on X.

According to Statistica, thousands of Black people were lynched between 1882 and 1968. The racist practice was condemned decades ago. Now, Forgiato Blow and JJ Lawhorn are trying to bring it back, just as Trump continues the first year of his second term.

“I see all this unfolds reminds me of a convo me and my boss had,” @Scottyyy2Hottie said on X. “How he knew a lot people will get emboldened just because of who our president is. I think about that full conversation so often now.” Some people pointed out the eerie timing of “Good vs Evil.”

@notjasond100 said, “3 days ago @ForgiatoBlow47 makes a song about lynching and then yesterday a black man is lynched at his college. what else do you call this other than a call for violence?” As we previously reported, two men were found hanging from trees in Mississippi. Police determined the death of Trey Reed, a 21-year-old Black college student, indicated no signs of foul play. However, many activists have suggest he was lynched.

@WackyCalz25 called out the 60 percent of Americans who voted for President Donald Trump in the first place. “The America yall voted for.”

Some folks like @AakeemDuncan said the song is grounds for fighting! “I’ll slap the shit outta both of these fake tough mfs,” he wrote.

@darkgary7 said on X, “How do people get away with this while we gotta say ‘unalive’?” Others added on noting how Trump has demonized the left for alleged hate speech following conservative podcaster Charlie Kirk’s killing. Meanwhile, folks in Trump’s own fanbase are spewing hatred unchecked.

“We’ve also seen killings of homeless people since the Fox anchors comment about ‘lethal injection’ but the ‘no one deserves to die’ crowd is,” @LoveKarleigh pointed out.

@EChurchBoyBreez wrote, “This is why we can’t let conservatives have anything that comes from black America cause why he singing LYNCH MUSIC OVER TRAP BEATS.”
