We’ve already reported on how some in the MAGAverse were in their feelings after the NFL’s announcement of Bad Bunny as the headliner for the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. Conservatives lit up social media to plead their case for why the Puerto Rican singer and rapper (who also happens to be one of the most-streamed artists on Spotify) wasn’t the right choice for the night, calling him out for everything from being Anti-Trump to speaking Spanish. Although millions of Bad Bunny fans around the world are planning to be locked in to every exciting minute of the show, one prominent conservative group is making sure people have something else to watch during the break in the football action.

Turning Point USA, the non-profit organization founded by the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, announced its plans for some Super Bowl Halftime counter-programming.

“HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT It’s true, Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce The All American Halftime Show,” read an October 9 post from the organization’s X account. “Performers and event details coming soon.”

The All-American Halftime Show: Celebrating Faith, Family and Freedom,” is scheduled for February 8, 2026, coinciding with the Super Bowl. The organization has already launched a website that allows people to vote for the kind of music they’d like to see featured in the show. We should tell you that one of the options is “Anything in English.”

Some on social media were confused by Turning Point’s All-American branding, especially considering that Bad Bunny’s native Puerto Rico is a United States territory and the fact that the NFL has booked non-US citizens to headline the show before, including Paul McCartney and Shakira.

“Isn’t @badbunnypr an American? So…the super bowl half time show is already an all American half time show?” wrote someone in the comments

Others are calling Turning Point’s show an attempt to whitewash the night.

“When Turning Point says it wants its own “Christian” halftime show, they mean “white,” wrote someone on X.
