Madame Tussauds caught hellfire when Beyoncé’s wax figure hit social media. The statue looked more like Kate Hudson and nothing like Beyoncé. From the lighter complexion to the facial features, many people guffawed about the fact that the museum hadn’t done a better job.

On Thursday the statue was temporarily removed from the museum’s floor; now Spin is reporting that the museum has made “adjustments” to the statue and it’s back on display.
“We love, respect and enjoy a working relationship with Beyoncé,” the museum said in a statement. “We have adjusted the styling and lighting of her figure and she is on display at Madame Tussauds New York.”
It’ll be interesting to see what these adjustments look like. I’ve asked The Root Associate Editor Angela Helm to go check it out and report back. Or I’ll just wait for the photo to pop up on social media.
