As seen in a new video posted to his official Instagram, the “Get Low” artist showcased a snippet of his workout routine for his followers. Doing a series of pull-ups, weight lifting and other exercises, it quickly became clear that fitness was a consistent part of his lifestyle and that his efforts in the gym are paying off.
After all, when he first came on the scene nearly 20 years ago, he didn’t have nearly any of the muscle definition and ripped arms that he’s sporting now. But, as he explained to VladTV in 2010, he began making changes once he realized people around him were starting to suffer some serious health complications.
“You gotta get in shape man, we know motherf*ckers that had heart attacks and strokes and sh*t. Like, if you don’t take care of your body, your body is gonna f*cking shut down. So I thought about that and said ‘you know what?’ I started to work out on my own and I’m getting a trainer,” he said in part at the time.
Fast forward to 2025 and it looks like he kept true to his word as evidenced by his recent gym videos. In a separate interview with TMZ over the weekend, he spoke out even more on his health journey and what he’s doing to ensure he stays on top of things.
“My diet is high protein, low carbs, spring water, no sugar, and no processed foods. I’ve been hittin’ the gym 3-4 days a week for 2 years now,” he said. “I’ve been dedicated to my health & wellness transformation both mentally and physically for a while now.”
In a separate post to Tik Tok, he also gave his fans one exercise that they could incorporate to start seeing some weight loss.
“I get asked all the time how I got in such good shape. Number one is diet, number two: this. Get on the treadmill, incline 15, speed two to three miles an hour. It will melt the fat off your body. Do it, do it, do it!” he said.
The rapper has also added meditation in his routine and even went so far as to drop a meditation album in February 2024. In the comment section on both his Insta and TikTok, his fans were positively shocked to see him as cut as he is.
“Ok lil Jon, go on king,” wrote one user.
“That’s hard Jon, super inspired,” said another.
One other user said, “The King of Crunk is becoming the King of Pumped.”
Added another, “This ain’t lil Jon no more, it’s big Jon now!!!”
In an apropos comment, another user expressed: “TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!”
