Now that the Grammy Awards are over, let us continue to bask in the glow of some of the most stylish artists in the industry. Lenny Kravitz was one of them of course. Showing off his muscles in a sheer top, he looked edgy and amazing. But then again, he has always been experimental with his fashions from wearing tight, metallic jumpsuits to rocking crop tops and bell-bottom jeans! He recently had an interview with PEOPLE breaking down some of his biggest fashion moments. Since he said last year that he gets a lack of Black media coverage, we’re here to share some of our favorite looks he’s worn!
1988
Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet were known for being one of the most uniquely dressed couples in the late eighties. Kravitz often opted for vintage clothing and pieces he found when thrifting. He also unintentionally started his locs around this time, with them eventually becoming his signature style.
1989
This photoshoot took place in 1989 during Kravitz’s “Let Love Rule” era. The suit and shoes were his father’s.

Who else would’ve thought to even wear these striped pants? He wore these to the 1990 American Music Awards.

We don’t often see men rock tight clothes the way that Kravitz does throughout his career. He rocked this bronze look at the 1991 MTV Movie Awards.

The bronze suit wasn’t the first time Kravitz popped out in a metallic look! This iconic silver suit with chunky bracelets and funky sunglasses was worn to the MTV Video Music Awards.

Okay, hat! Kravitz absolutely adores his daughter, Zoe, and they both constantly stepped out in stylish fits throughout the 90s.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Kravitz mentioned that in his childhood, he would walk around his house with his mother’s scarves and boas.

The “Are You Gonna Go My Way” singer brought daughter Zoe to the 2000 Grammy Awards. The amazing snakeskin jacket he wore is by the brand Roberto Cavalli.

Okay, silk press! Kravitz performed for “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” in 2004 wearing one of his most familiar styles, a wide-leg/flare pant with a vest top!
2012
In 2012, he created the meme of the year after stepping out in this humongous custom scarf. Although we were all joking about how big the scarf is, we need the link to buy it because this winter is way too cold.
2015
Katy Perry asked Lenny Kravitz to join her on the 2015 Super Bowl stage! In an interview, he said that he originally wore this jacket without a shirt underneath, but the network was nervous about not being family-friendly. So he rushed and found one of his signature holey tops.
2022
Kravitz graced the 2022 Grammy Awards red carpet wearing with silver chain top, leather pants, and matching leather boots!
