Boyd County Sheriff Bobby Woods confirmed that the problematic post came from a deputy but declined to name the deputy involved, the Associated Press reports. The deputy was suspended for 24 days without pay as of Jan. 25, which Wood described as the maximum disciplinary action allowed by policy.

As 13 News WOWK notes, the comment was likely about former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama.

The post in question read, “THAT MUSLIM HOLLER MONKEY HAS BEEN EVICTED...NOW HIM AND HIS SHEMALE NEED TO GET GONE!” (caps lock actually included, and there is nothing quite like an internet troll who uses all caps).

The comment was deleted soon after it was posted, the Huffington Post notes, but of course, since this is the internet, someone had already taken a screenshot and shared it with the media and the sheriff’s department.

The sheriff said that any other comments regarding the action taken would be improper because it concerns personnel matters.
