In news that can only be described as “celebrity kids — they’re just like us!” Kim Kardashian is back in the headlines. Only this time around, her young sons are the reason. When we explain it, you’ll probably crack up.

As you probably know by now, Kim has been on a quest to up her skills and knowledge in practicing law and shared with her fans and followers that she’d be enrolling in a law apprenticeship in 2019. Fast forward six years, and the reality TV star finally finished her program in May 2025.
Now, in the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” folks got a closer look at how Kim and her family celebrated her milestone. Unfortunately, her big moment got overshadowed by her curious sons. While giving a speech about how hard her schooling was at a surprise party thrown for her at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, Kim’s 10-year-old son, Saint, began hitting an unused microphone on the stage. After seeing his brother have all the fun, 6-year-old Psalm decided to join in and tried to take the mic from him.
After seeing how rowdy they were becoming, Kim’s sister Khloe tried to calm the young kids so her sister could continue giving her speech, but unfortunately, that didn’t work. Eventually, Kim had to step in and keep the boys from further roughhousing.
“Hey guys! No fighting. Come on. Come on! Stop it. I’m serious,” she said while momentarily pausing her speech.
Her efforts proved futile, too, as Saint ultimately won out and got the mic to himself. But the resourceful Psalm somehow found yet another unused mic and began speaking gibberish into it. (We can’t explain it, but something about these young boys grabbing the mic out of each other’s hands feels very 2009-ish.)
Reflecting on the wild moment, Kim said: ” “There are certain kids that are just meant to be perfect little angels in public. And then there’s mine. Even though my kids are chaotic, today has really meant the world to me.”
Once folks began watching the episode and clips circulated online, they couldn’t help but empathize and be amused.
“So real — the kids fighting becoming [a part] of the speech,” one user said on TikTok.
However, some folks weren’t all that entertained.
“Not okay the kids are acting out…” another user said.
“Bad ass kids,” one other person wrote.
