In April, the "Keep It Movin'' singer teased Majors' appearance on her podcast, "Baby, This is Keke Palmer." At the time, Majors was doing his media rounds for his film "Magazine Dreams." He was also still reeling from ongoing controversies surrounding past allegations, as we previously reported.
"He was interviewing, and I felt like 'Hey, well let's hear it,'" Palmer continued. To her, chatting with Majors was not a sign that she supported him. Palmer said she was just doing her job. There could be some questions that the audience wants to know that I'm willing to ask."
Palmer also spoke about the scrapped interview on "The Breakfast Club." She said, "People felt it was insensitive" for her to conduct the interview. "It's always there I'd imagine if people wanted to see it, but I always want to be respectful," Palmer continued.
"People sit down with serial killers. Sh*t, if we can sit down with Dahmer n' them, why can't I sit down with dude [Majors]?" Palmer joked. In the end, the singer added she has no ill feelings to Majors or to his new wife, actress Meagan Good. "But I love Meagan and I'm happy for her. And I support her," Palmer told Yee.
