If itβs a day ending in βy,β best believe Kanye West probably went on a social media rant.
His latest had to do with a former Nike designer criticizing the design of his Yeezy Pod Socks, a sock-shoe combo that looks about as ... interesting as it sounds. And letβs not forget most insane part of the product is that they were recently made available for pre-order at the ridiculous price of $200. Prayers for whoever buys it.

Ironically, the news of the Chicago rapperβs first independent βshoeβ release since being dropped from Adidas comes just as the German footwear company announced that they have plans to sell the remaining Yeezy sneakers they have in storage. The move will advance their plan to distance themselves from Kanye and his antics.
On Wednesday, Ye took to his Instagram account to share screenshots of messages he sent to former Nike designer Brittany Pierone where he said she was making fun of the design of his Yeezy Pod Socks.
Just a couple of days prior, she shared a picture on IG of her wearing the βsocksβ in a couple of sizes too big, making the concept look much more exaggerated. Although she claimed it was just a joke, Ye had already caught wind of the post and went off.
βWhat the f**k is wrong with you. Donβt play with me like that. What adidas paid you to post that photo. Iβve put so much work into every product and when Iβm independent this is what you wanna post. You worse than the TMZ lady,β said Ye.

Yes, heβs talking about that TMZ lady.
Later, the Chicago rapper then sent Pierone a lengthy message, telling her, βGet a size one. Donβt play with me like that. It ainβt funny. I worked for a year on these and put them out myself. Jordan wanted to do his own brand and Nike threatened Foot Locker to pull all they shoes out the stores.
He added, βAdidas copies all my s**t and treated me like s**t. Adidas is suing me for 4 billion dollars and selling my shoes without paying me and they said I misused the marketing fund when I am the marketing. Thatβs why they sent me the money in the first place. You have idea how much work Iβve put in to everything we do.β

Thankfully, Pierone kept a leveled head and explained that the photo of her wearing a size too big of the Yeezy socks was re-shared by a Kanye fan account with a different caption. She then insisted the socks are a βbeautiful product.β
This immediately got Ye to change his tone, and he responded with, βThank you I truly appreciate the support β¦ I put everything on the line weβre building everything from scratch.β
