As The Root previously reported, Diddyβs role in Foxxβs health scare last year has been called into question since Foxx taped his upcoming Netflix special a few months ago. Per Page Six, a handful of audience members at the tapings revealed that Foxx claims Diddy is βresponsible for his medical issuesβ during the set.
Choke No Joke, a videographer/producer/director, broke it all down to Comedy Hypeβs YouTube channel after attending the tapings, alleging that Foxx told the crowd, βDiddy was responsible for what happened to him, and [Foxx] is the one who called the FBI on [Combs].β
Choke went on to clarify that it did not seem like Foxx was saying this claim in jest during the special, but that viewers will have to see for themselves when it airs on Netflix.
Rogan went on to say on his podcast he thinks there was βa bunch of sh-tβ going on.β He said, βI think murders, alleged murders ... a bunch of people got pneumonia, a bunch of convenient people died of pneumonia,β repeating some damming allegations regarding Diddy, citing a Daily Mail report without any further fact-checking.
Rogan added at the end of the topic, ββWe wonβt know until we see the actual Jamie Foxx Netflix special.β As the Netflix special has yet to hit the streamer, none of these claims are confirmed or sourced, and could all very well be more internet conspiracy theories surrounding Diddy in what has become, by far, the biggest entertainment story of the year.
