Joe Buddenβs legal troubles are now behind him and the former rapper is now opening up about how he beat the charges against him. Last week, a statement by the Edgewater Police Department in New Jersey claimed that on the morning of December 4, officers responded to a call at an apartment complex claiming that Budden was naked outside of someoneβs door.
The victim claimed that they were alerted by their doorbell camera and witnessed the podcaster attempting to enter the code into their apartment before returning to his own unit. As a result, the police charged him with lewdness.

Naturally, Buddenβs attorneys denied the claims, saying that the policeβs statement was βinflammatory and slanderousβ and that these allegations were only made against him because heβs a βprominent Black voice for his community.β
Since then, Budden has stayed quiet on what went down on the night in question. Until now.
On the most recent episode of the βJoe Budden Podcast,β the βPump It Upβ rapper shared why heβs been absent in recent episodes of the podcast and revealed that he beat the case that was brought against him.
Budden explained, β[The judge] was fair, reasonable, heard all the testimony, was attentive, [and] wasnβt on no bulls**t.β
He then recalled what the judge told the plaintiff, telling his co-hosts, βMr. Budden was not erect. He was not masturbating. The one time that he touched his penis, he appeared to be trying to cover himself. Mr. Budden was not trying to forcibly enter [your place].β
As a result, Budden was not found guilty of lewdness and was cleared of all the charges against him.
However, the judge did leave him with some advice before leaving court, saying, βMr. Budden, please take the necessary precautions to make sure that this never happens again.β
