Jennifer Lopez and Jenifer Lewis were two of many Hollywood stars who came out to celebrate the holidays at vocal coach Stevie Mackey’s Christmas party in Los Angeles. The guest list reportedly included actors Michael B. Jordan and Margot Robbie, but it was our “Dreamgirls” fave Lewis who stole the show in a viral video.
In a clip that is circulating around social media, Lewis and J.Lo somehow ended up sharing a mic for a friendly rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” And that went as well as you might expect when two divas—one known for singing, the other known for playing a singer in a movie—are put on the spot to blow.

On X/Twitter, Lewis gushed about the party. “There was so much love in the room,” she wrote. “Great party baby girl♥️♥️♥️ Happy Holidays Everybody♥️.” Of course, folks had a field day with the video.
One TikTok user chose to break down Lewis’ approach to the song and highlight certain parts of it by commenting: “This be light was so goooood. It’s like she got lighter in her voice and opened up her vocal tract and hit that last/t/ in ‘light’ clearly but delicately.”
Others commented, “Ms. Lewis is walking this sooooong. I love it!”
There was a shared admiration for the “Sister Act” star and Lopez. Although Affleck’s husband wasn’t seen in the video, it was reported that he partied hard alongside his wife.
It’s only the couple’s second holiday season together after marrying in 2022. The famous pair were engaged in 2003 and 2004. However, they didn’t reconnect until 2021.
“They threw a really fun party,” a source reportedly told People. “They were both in such good spirits.” Lopez is gearing to release her ninth studio album entitled “This is Me…Now” sometime next year.
