At this point, all MAGA politicians should know if you come for Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom, he’s ready to clap back….no matter the cost! Vice President JD Vance found out the hard way after he called the governor out for “mimicking” President Donald Trump.

Newsom has recently worked a new strategy for trolling the president. For weeks, his press office on X has used all caps, MAGA phrases, threats and personal praise. Fans of Newsom have called his trolling genius… but the vice president said on a recent Fox News interview that he’s not amused.
“When I see Gavin Newsom trying to act like Donald Trump, that’s the opposite of authenticity,” Vance told the Fox host in August. “He’s not trying to be Gavin Newsom — whoever that is. He’s trying to be a fake carbon copy of Donald Trump. And it just doesn’t work,” he continued.
If you know anything about the history of Vance and Newsom‘s online back-and-forths, then the MAGA politician’s callout of him shouldn’t be shocking. “You can’t mimic the king,” Vance added, speaking of Trump. “You can’t mimic the master. You ought to just go and be yourself. And I think the people would like that a lot more than a cheap imitation of the president of the United States.”
Newsom — a harsh critic of both Vance and Trump — couldn’t let that one slide. So he took things to X, posting on his press office account. The governor first addressed the vice president, calling him “J.D. ‘JUST DANCE’ VANCE, WHO NOBODY LIKED UNTIL TRUMP PICKED HIM OUT OF THE ‘BARGAIN BIN’ IN THE WALMART CLEARANCE SECTION…” and the Democrat was just getting started.
“I LIVE RENT-FREE IN HIS HEAD (VERY TINY SPACE, ALMOST NO ROOM WITH ‘THE COUCH’). HE IS VERY WEAK… THE GUY CAN’T RUN, TAKES MORE ‘VACATIONS’ THAN ANY VICE PRESIDENT IN HISTORY (AND WE’VE HAD SOME LAZY ONES!), GOT CAUGHT TAKING PHOTOS IN THE BATHROOM (VERY SICK!) AFTER APPLYING HIS EYELINER AND WEARS A COMMUNIST RED SHIRT. PERFECT, SINCE ‘CHAIRMAN TRUMP’ NOW OWNS INTEL AND TELLS HIM WHAT TO WEAR,” Newsom added.
The governor continued calling out Fox News for “GIVING AIRTIME TO A TOTAL LOSER.” Then, he closed it out saying Vance should focus on “PRACTICING FOR HIS SOON DEBUT’ ON DANCING WITH THE STARS.” Newsom continued, “EVERYONE’S LAUGHING AT HIM, BELIEVE ME!”
That same day, the governor took to his personal X account to respond to a report about Vance saying he’s ready to fill in if anything “terrible” happens to the president. Newsom wrote just three words: “No thank you!”
After almost three weeks, Vance has yet to respond to the Democrat or any of his personal jabs. Newsom, however, hasn’t slowed down on his attacks on him or Trump: On Tuesday (Sep. 16), the governor called out Trump on X, saying he should “take your dementia meds, grandpa.”
