And SportsCenter’s Michael Smith found out the hard way. Smith was interviewing Foxx before the actor played in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night, and asked him about Katie Holmes, whom Foxx has been allegedly dating on the low for more than a few years.
Referencing a photo that surfaced of the couple with Foxx holding a basketball on Valentine’s Day, Smith asked Foxx about his swirly love in a tongue-in-cheek way.
“And I know you’ve prepared because I saw pictures,” said Smith. “Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real Love & Basketball?”
Foxx simply smiled, took off his headset and walked off. Guess Katie is off-limits, breh.
