To say that his protege's debut album, 1993's Doggystyle, was influential would be an understatement since the LP launched Snoop's continuing career. West coast fans adore him like New Jersey natives worship Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen or Michigan loves Eminem, another one of Dre's students. Now the N.W.A. veteran has introduced another new artist, Compton, Calif., rapper Kendrick Lamar, and RapRadar's Elliott Wilson discusses whether he's worthy of the enormous attention he's enjoyed since his album, Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City hit shelves this week.
