Tennis star Venus Williams said “I do” again over the weekend, tying the knot with actor and model Andrea Preti in a Florida ceremony. The couple, who confirmed their engagement in July of this year, followed up their Sept. 18 wedding in Ischia, Italy with a fabulous five-day celebration in Palm Beach, Fla., complete with a boudoir-themed bridal shower, a pool party, intimate dinners and a sports day, filled with volleyball, dodgeball, wheelbarrow races, and, of course, tennis.

The couple told Vogue they decided to have a second wedding in the US when they realized they wouldn’t be able to marry legally in Italy.
“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” Williams told Vogue. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork, because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”
The pair had an intimate courthouse wedding in Florida on Dec. 19 before a formal ceremony at their home on Dec. 21. Venus stunned in a sheer lace gown designed by Georges Hobieka, a look her new hubby loved.
“When I saw Venus, she was beautiful, like a goddess,” Preti told Vogue. “I was crying and happy.”
Williams and Preti first met at a Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week in 2024. When he saw the Wimbledon champ at a party, Preti knew he had to shoot his shot.
“I saw V and wanted to introduce myself,” he told Vogue. “She was on the sofa with her friends and family. I told her, ‘You’re so beautiful,’ and then she started speaking with me in Italian.”
The two began communicating over text, and their romance heated up quickly, with Preti popping the question on Jan. 31, 2025, in Tuscany.
Now, friends and fans are sending their well-wishes to the couple on social media.
“YESSSS!🙏🤍,” wrote designer Vera Wang on Instagram.
Another commenter applauded the couple for not stringing out the engagement too long.
“Met 2024. Married 2025. IKDR! They knew what they wanted and ain’t waste no time,” wrote a commenter on Instagram.
