Nowadays, it almost feels as if social media is polluted by red pill content that has become a terrible influence on young men across the globe. These creators often teach men to be violent, aggressive and ignorant, especially toward women. However, one Black man is not giving up on the younger generation. Instead, he is acting as a positive role model for Black boys, teaching them not only how to be gentlemen but also life skills that will set them up for success.

King Randall, a community activist in Albany, Georgia, is the founder of the preparatory school, The “X” for Boys. The school is a charitable organization with a mission to “teach boys the true meaning of manhood & to be protectors and providers for their communities,” according to the website.
Founded in 2019, the school was created to help curb Albany’s high crime rate. According to the school’s website, that rate sat at 59 per 1,000 citizens when the organization was founded. However, a 2026 study done by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation found that Albany’s crime rate had shrunk to 33 per 1,000 citizens. Randall’s hard work is definitely helping to make an impact in Georgia’s city with the highest concentration of poverty.
One way Randall has helped steer young Black men in Albany away from violent crime is by offering classes that teach basic life lessons, such as boundaries. On TikTok, one class in particular went viral, earning 1 million likes, for teaching the boys what actual consent looks like versus a coerced response.
In the video, Randall asks a woman for a hug multiple times before she finally gives in and says yes. He then turns to his students and asks whether she actually wanted to agree to the hug, to which they respond with a resounding “no!”
Highlighting his point, Randall told his students: “If somebody’s going to do something for you and you’re going to do something for somebody else, you want them to want that. You understand that? And if they don’t want that, then we let that slide … That is not a yes.”
In the comments, users loved the positive influence Randall has on his students and even asked him to teach grown men the same lessons.
“Look at them all engaged! You’re doing amazing things, sir,” wrote one user.
Another user asked, “Can you hold a lesson at a college frat?”
“This isn’t just teaching them to respect other people when they say no. It also teaches them that if they say no, that no should be respected as well,” added another.
However, Randall teaches much more than consent and how to be a gentleman. At The “X” for Boys, he also helps students learn how to pay bills and fix things around their homes. In another viral TikTok that received more than 200,000 likes, Randall showed the boys how to replace car brakes.
Folks in the comments wrote that they needed to find ways to sign up for Randall’s future classes.
“I need to learn to!!!. Tell the cameraman he’s standing at the wrong angle,” wrote one viewer.
“Not all heroes wear capes, but they do wear headlights,” quipped another.
“Great job teaching kids practical skills that they can use their whole life,” added another.
While it’s clear from Randall’s TikTok page that he is making a positive impact on young Black men in Albany, the school’s website shares impressive figures that show just how much of an influence the school has had. Students have seen an 86% improvement in reading comprehension and a 91% improvement in school grades. Additionally, 99.99% of students are less likely to be repeat offenders in criminal activity.
As the TikTok comments say, this is Black king activity.
