What police say started as a dispute quickly ended in the shooting death of rapper T-Hood in Atlanta. Now, investigators are desperately searching for the shooter, but in a shocking turn of events, a well-know reality TV couple has been wrapped up in all the chaos.

Police responded to reports of gunfire on the evening of Aug. 8, Fox 5 News reported. When they arrived to a house located in Snellville, Ga., they found 33-year-old T-Hood– real name Tevin Hood– suffering from multiple gunshots. He was rushed to the hospital where he died from his injuries. One person was detained at the scene, according to reports, but so far, no one has been charged.
In the midst of investigators trying to piece together what happened, fans and family of Hood began pointing fingers at Kelsie Frost, the rapper’s girlfriend. She’s also the daughter of reality star Kirk Frost and the stepdaughter of Rasheeda Frost famous for starring in “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” a reality show focused on the lives of musical artists and their relationships.
Frost took to Instagram after people continued to blame her for her boyfriend’s killing. “I can’t sit back and let this narrative being created go on. The love of my life is GONE,” she said, according to Vlad TV. “I didn’t harm him or ask anyone to harm him!!! I didn’t ask for this. I would NEVER!” She didn’t stop there. In fact, many believe Frost allegedly implicated her own brother as a suspect in Hood’s murder.
“I don’t condone that sh*t, brother or not,” a woman folks suspect is Frost telling Hood’s relative in a leaked phone conversation. The woman on the phone continued, alleging she told police her brother, Ky Lasheed Frost, was the alleged gunman. Ky is Frost’s sibling and the 24-year-old son of Kirk and Rasheeda. The woman on the phone has not been publicly identified by authorities.
TMZ obtained an incident report confirming the Gwinnett County Police Department named Ky as their primary suspect. The alleged shooter stayed on the scene after the shooting took place. The initial investigation determined a domestic dispute preceded Hood’s death. The argument involved a female witness, according to police. The woman, who has not be identified, was reportedly injured during the argument.
“Both the shooter and witnesses continue to cooperate with investigators,” an Aug. 12 news release confirmed.
Now, the case is being investigated as possible self defense, according to Fox 5 News. The investigation into Hood’s death remains open. No arrests have been made.
