It appears popular TV Judge Greg Mathis has made good on his promise to win his wife Linda back. And now, we can prove it!

After 40 years of marriage, Mathis and his wife Linda Reese shocked everyone in August 2024 when it was revealed they were headed for a divorce. As we previously told you, his wife Linda Reese filed for divorce from the TV personality, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their dissolution. (The internet had other theories, but we digress.)
Shortly after, Mathis said that he was dedicated to “trying to get his wife back” though things were quiet as far as Linda was concerned, and he didn’t sound too confident at the time. However, by October of that same year, Mathis seemed cautiously optimistic that things between him and Linda would work out, saying at the time that they’d be “be reconciled shortly” and that he’d been staying home more in order to put that apparently much needed quality time in with his wife.
The following month, the two were spotted out in public together for the first time following their divorce announcement, telling TMZ in a brief interview that they’re doing well. Mathis also said he believed God had to “break him down” to lift him up and that following all of that breaking, he was now on a mission to “help Black love.”
Well, fast forward to July 2025– nearly one year after their marriage hit rock bottom– and it looks like the tables have turned for the better for the Mathises.
As evidenced by a new, viral photo of the two circulating on social media, the two can be seen sharing a kiss while spending some time out and about in New York City. This post follows an extremely lovey-dovey video Mathis posted to his Instagram page in May where he was seen serenading his lovely wife during karaoke at a party. That incident, much like the aforementioned New York City moment, also ended with a smooch.
Wow! Whatever Judge Mathis did to get his wife back seems to be paying off, maybe we all could stand to learn a thing or two from him.
