How J.D. Vance Might Be Trying to Snatch the Presidency From Trump

If the vice president were trying to take the presidency from Trump, he would be just another in a long history of world leaders who tried such a stunt.

There is a theory going around on social media positing that Vice President J.D. Vance is positioning himself to take President Donald Trump’s job. It may sound like something not worth considering — but we have seen it happen in many countries throughout history, so, it is not as crazy as it sounds.

His approval number have not taken much of a hit. He is still the most powerful man in the Western world. And very few people are willing to openly say they disapprove of him, but the president is haunted by his former friend Jeffery Epstein. Let’s just lay out the facts.

Trump and Epstein were friends for many years, but they seemed to have had a falling out in 2004. When the financier was found dead in his prison cell in 2019, President Trump said that he had not talked to Epstein in over 15 years. The medical examiner, the Federal Bureau of Prisons and former President Joe Biden’s investigators all found that Epstein killed himself in his jail cell, but Trump’s supporters thought something nefarious was going on.

They strongly felt that powerful people (what they call the Deep State)  had the man killed to keep him quiet. It is no secret that President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and other powerful men were in Epstein’s orbit. So, Trump’s supporters wanted what they called ‘The Epstein Files” released so that all could come to light. Only one problem — the files were never released.

This could be because there were never any files. But many of Trump’s supporters feel that he did not release them because the President did not want them to be. We do not know what’s true here, and anyone saying otherwise who does not work in the White House is a liar and the truth ain’t in them. But this leads us to whatever Vance is up to.

Many on these internet streets are claiming that the vice president is positioning himself to take over. Put bluntly, this is the first thing that the President has not been able to swat away.

He was able to dodge any real repercussions when he was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records. And though a court found him liable for sexual abuse he was still able to win the presidency despite it. Nothing has really been able to stick to the president before now, but no matter what he does — this isn’t going away.

Many of Trump’s most ardent supporters are not very enthusiastic about the President right now. Hell, Alex Jones posted a video of himself crying over the DOJ saying there were no files.

Many on the internet think Vance sees that the President is in a weakened position and is making his move. The Vice President had a secret meeting with Rupert Murdoch, the owner of The Wall Street Journal, right before the paper released the letter Trump wrote to Epstein. And the relative silence on the part of people who are normally very vocal in their support of the president is deafening.

But as I mentioned above, this would not be the first time something like this has happened.

Just look at Brazil in 1964. Or Haiti in 1991. Think it could not happen here? FDR would like to have a word. The “Business Plot” almost took him out in 1934. And Nixon was not exactly overthrown in the 70s, but he might say different.

Is J.D. Vance trying to position himself to take the presidency from Trump? Only the man who produced a poorly written memoir knows that answer. But if that was what he was trying to do, Vance would not be the first person to try.
