40 years ago a former KGB spy predicted how America would fall. I believe we are living this all now 😱🚨🇺🇸 He outlines the 4 major stages of mass brainwashing that can be used by enemy countries. 1. Demoralization 2. Destabilization 3. Crisis 4. “Normalization” What stage are we in today as a country ? 🇺🇸 😱 #viral #fyp #foryoupage #kgb #america #yuribezmenov #crisis #americahasaproblem #politics #woke #woketok #liberal #conservative #usa

In this video, a soviet defector who once worked with the KGB (a Russian version of the CIA that was disbanded in 1991) talks about what the Russia want to do to Americans.  His name is Yuri Bezmenov, and what he talks about is Ideological Subversion, one of the USSR’s forms of psychological warfare.

He explains that the first, and most important, step in this process is to change the perception of Americans. This must be done to such an extent that no matter what facts they are exposed to, people in this country should not able to come to a conclusion that makes sense.

Hearing this, what we are seeing Trump do every day should start to make sense.

Ever wondered why people continue to believe that the 2016 election was stolen despite an abundance of evidence that it was not? Or why people who are otherwise sensible cannot see that Trump had a hand in inciting the rioters who stormed the capitol on Jan. 6, 2021?

What Bezmenov describes is, in a nutshell, how to effectively brainwash people. He said it would take a generation to accomplish this, but President Trump was able to do it in less than a decade. Now, when he says that water is not wet, his followers plan picnics despite the weather reports. When he says that up in down, his followers believe that too. The hold the president has over his MAGA coalition is unlike anything we have seen before in America.

Our grandparents loved President Barack Obama, but many of them were critical of the man when he pushed for things they did not agree with. For example, there was no shortage of criticism from many of Obama’s supporters when he changed his mind on marriage equality and (rightly) pushed for people to be able to marry whomever they pleased.

A president being loved makes sense. But a president being nearly universally followed by his supporters even when they blatantly lie? That’s something we’ve only seen from Trump in modern times.

Now, only one question remains: what can be done about it?

Trump’s followers will not listen to reason because he has been effective in his misinformation campaign. Most will vote for him even though he blatantly lies. And some are so far gone that they will break the law in his name. So, what should the rest of us do? It’s rather simple.

We must push back where we can. Governor Gavin Newsom of California is not a perfect man, but his attempt to, as he calls it, ‘fight fire with fire’ and carve out five democratic House seats because the Republicans are trying to do that in Texas should receive our full support.

Most importantly, we must make sure that Black kids do not fall for the president’s lies. Our parents and grandparents made sure we knew better than to support President Ronald Reagan, we must do the same for the current generation of Black boys and girls.

We must make sure that Trump’s brainwashing does not infiltrate our community. If it does, we may lose the next generation of Black leaders. We cannot let that happen.
