More Black Hollywood Hot Girls Who Are Back on the Market and Still Fly

Last year was a year of breakups and if you were hit with one too, don’t worry–you’re in good company. And that means Hot Girl Summer is going to be HOTTER.

As you may have noticed, 2023 was the year of celebrity breakups. Now, unfortunately, only nine days into the 2024, we’ve already seen the news of Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa’s official divorce.

And while relationship dissolutions are often not cause for celebration, we can’t help but notice the fact that some of Hollywood’s hottest women are back on the market all at the same time. From the fine O.G.’s like Tina Knowles to thee Hot Girl Coach herself Megan Thee Stallion—we thought it’d be fitting to take a look at the Black bachelorettes who have just turned Hot Girl Summer up 20 million notches.

So if you’re still reeling from your own personal breakup, wipe your tears, grab your nearest pilates workout gear, and scroll through these lovely ladies who are now in these single streets with you. Trust me, you’re in good company.

Our resident Hot Girl, when Lori Harvey split from Damson Idris in 2023, men everywhere rejoiced. But if we’ve learned anything from Miss Harvey, it’s that it’s we are the prize and it’s beyond time we start acting like it.

But at least her and Idris had an amicable split.

News of Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa’s split first hit the internet in Jan. 2023, but she officially filed for divorce Jan. 2024. Lisa’s been a baddie since the 80’s, so I have no doubt she’ll have a wheel of lovers if she wants to.

Though some may have seen the proverbial writing on the wall, when Megan Thee Stallion and ex Pardison Fontaine broke things off, Hot Girls everywhere had their coach back. And seeing how Pardi’s been behaving since their split and the brand deals Megan’s received since—it looks like things turned out for the better anyway.

Tia Mowry

You know life’s been good for Tia Mowry since her divorce from Cory Hardrict was finalized: she got an unofficial official shoutout from Beyonce herself during her “Renaissance” World Tour stop in LA. If that’s not enough fuel to kick off a Hot Girl Summer, I don’t know what is. Don’t let the dating woes keep you down, Tia, you got this!

Teyana Taylor

Now I’m personally still getting over the news of Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s divorce, it definitely looks like “SpikeTey” has been on the glow up ever since. And for that, I can do nothing but stan!

Nia Long

The scandal surrounding Nia Long and Ime Udoka’s split was hella unfortunate. But the fortunate thing about it for Long is that she can move on with her life with a newfound sense of freedom—and a nice child support check to go along with it.

Lupita Nyong’o

Hearing that Lupita Nyong’o had entered a season heartbreak due to her breakup from Selema Masekala was one of the saddest yet relatable things ever. Yet, just like any woman whose been wronged, this only means her bounce back will be that much stronger.

Jodie Turner-Smith

Seeing that Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson were calling it quits was yet another shocking celebrity breakup. But much like the aforementioned ladies, she Jodie won’t be single for long. So we may as well enjoy her and the looks she’ll undoubtedly give during her single era!

Keke Palmer

They don’t call her Keke “Keep a Job” Palmer for nothing! Even though tumultuous reports came out between Keke and her ex Darius Jackson, it wasn’t enough to keep her star from shining—or making history at this year’s Creative Arts Emmys. My girl may be down, but she’ll never be out!

Tina Knowles

The breakup between Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson felt a little like your favorite Aunty/Uncle calling it quits, but ultimately these are two grown, grown folks who will always do what’s best for them. And specifically when it comes to Miss Tina, she’s got so much good surrounding her—I’m not worried in the least bit.

Mariah Carey

Now, I admit, things between Mariah Carey and Brian Tinaka were pretty quiet, which made their breakup in Dec. 2023 that much more surprising. But the singing diva (and we mean that with all positivity and zero shade) is now back on the market and I have no doubt she’ll continue to hit high notes in both her career and love life—when’s she’s good and ready.

Cardi B

The divorce between Cardi B. and Offset may not be officially filed, but the “Bongos” rapper has made it clear that their relationship has reached its ending point. I don’t know about you, but whenever Cardi experiences a setback, she always bounces back bigger and better than ever. So there’s no telling what feats she’ll secure once the unfortunate ink is dry.

Tracey Edmonds

As you can see the theme of unexpected breakups was running rampant last year and the split between Tracey Edmonds and Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders was yet another notch on the belt. Thankfully, it seems their split was smooth and Tracey has already been outside, glowing and getting to it. We love to see it!

Eva Marcille

The divorce between Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling was one that definitely caught RHOA fans by surprise, but with Eva’s rising acting career and other endeavors—she’ll easily continue to make the most out her star power post-breakup.

Drew Sidora

Depending on who you talk to, the divorce between RHOA star, actress, and singer Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman was a long time coming. However, they are never easy nor fun, no matter who’s involved. But, there’s is a certain aura that a woman exudes when she gets free and I can’t wait to see Drew’s shine more and more.

Cynthia Bailey

Much like Drew and Ralph, there had been some internet rumblings about the impending ending between RHOA alum and super model Cynthia Bailey and ex Mike Hill’s relationship. Despite proving them wrong, what Cynthia has also proved is that life doesn’t stop just because of a divorce. In fact, by the look of her brand deals, business ventures and more—it looks like things are going pretty good for the former peach-holder and that’s the best post-breakup revenge of all.

Saweetie

After parting ways with Migos’ rapper Quavo in 2022, rapper Saweetie has recently been spending her time doing “Richtivities” and looking good while doing it.

La La Anthony

La La Anthony and NBA star Carmelo Anthony called it quits and fin their divorce back in 2021 and ever since then, she’s been in her bag.

Faith Evans

In 2021, singer Faith Evans and producer Stevie J finalized their divorce. The two had known each other dating back to their days with Bad Boy records, but decided to officially get married in 2018.
