Google is back at it again with the stunning doodles, this time releasing an audiovisual masterpiece to celebrate what would have been Maya Angelou’s 90th birthday.

At first glance, the beautifully drawn doodle of the poet, civil rights activist and author appears to be a regular illustration, but once you click on it, a reading of one of Angelou’s most empowering and well-recognized poems, “Still I Rise,” starts to play.
The recorded reading uses Angelou’s voice, as well as sections read by Oprah Winfrey, singer Alicia Keys, Angelou’s son Guy Johnson, actress Laverne Cox, actress America Ferrera and singer Martina McBride.
“Through her works, Dr. Angelou gave a voice to millions. She championed women’s rights and gender equality. She redefined black beauty and celebrated African-American oral traditions. She advocated against war and campaigned for universal peace,” Google noted in a press release.
“Maya Angelou is not what she has done or written or spoken, it’s how she did it all. She moved through the world with unshakeable calm, confidence, and a fiery, fierce grace and abounding love,” Oprah added in the statement.
“Dr. Angelou’s work is filled with such incredible wisdom and spiritual teachings. It feels like the ultimate privilege to have the opportunity to speak her words. She is a national treasure we should always celebrate,” Cox noted.
