“We cool, we cool,” GloRilla explained. “It was a funny conversation. I don’t take a lot of stuff too serious. Like, I joke, especially like if it ain’t like no death or fighting matter, nothing like that. I ain’t going to take it too serious.”
Now whether or not this newfound friendship will result in a future musical collab remains to be seen, but both fanbases would be pleased to know that there’s no more beef.

All eyes have been on rapper Young Thug this week as alleged tweets and now leaked phone calls of him blasting some of today’s musicians have hit the internet. And believe us when we tell you, it’s not pretty!
While there’s still some speculation around the aforementioned tweet that we told you about earlier this week, everyone’s focus is now on a newly leaked audio released on Thursday. In the specific clip that’s got folks talking, Thug can be heard talking crap about fellow rapper GloRilla calling her ugly and noting that she was skinny, had a big head, big mouth, fake hair and more.
He went on to express incredulity that other men would be trying to holler at her and continued to double down on how unattractive he felt she was and how he’d never try to get at her.
“That b*tch ain’t talking ’bout nothing. I would not pursue her at all, EVER. Man, watch out…all the sh*t I seen about her. I seen a video of her walking past, just big ass mouth, just like always laughing. She look funny as hell…who the hell pursuing–who trying to smack that?” he said to his girlfriend and singer Mariah the Scientist over the phone.
Once the audio made it over to GloRilla’s neck of the woods, she took to X/Twitter to officially respond, alluding to the fact that Thug may have tried to lowkey holler at her after all at some point.
“Mind you dis da same nigga blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo,” she said in tweet on Thursday.
She later added, referencing the fact that Thursday was Beyoncé’s birthday: “Dis is BEYONCÉ’S DAY, we not making dis about me okayyyyyyyyyy???????????”
Unlike the tweet from earlier this week, it didn’t take Thug long to come out and apologize for his hurtful words, which all but confirmed it was definitely him and his voice in the footage.
“@GloTheofficial first of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all, I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life.. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.. I’m sorry to u twin,” he wrote on X/Twitter.
The “Yeah Glo!” rapper has yet to respond to his apology, but that’s really OK because a whole host of folks on social media are doing it for her. As more users began listening to Thug’s comments, they couldn’t help but completely blast the “Go Crazy” artist with some calling his own looks, apology, and even his attraction to GloRilla into question.
“That nigga thug was hating on every non incarcerated person he could think of,” wrote one user.
“Young Thug don’t know what he actually looks like and thats the problem,” said another.
One other user wrote, “That apology was to stop Glorilla from breaking up a happy home today.
“Thug obviously attracted to Glo but he think the other men he seeks approval from wouldn’t be so he trying to clown her,” wrote one other person.
Added another: “Do you know how miserable you gotta be, as a man, to see a woman smiling and enjoying herself, and get mad about it??? Thug really said he saw Glo walking and giggling, and she shouldn’t be bc her mouth big. That’s nasty work. And Mariah’s airhead ass just sat there enabling it.”
Some folks on social media also brought the smoke for Mariah, accusing her of not being a “girl’s girl” and egging on Thug to further bash her. And what made it worse as one user pointed out–the two just shared a stage together in June.
“‘They be saying she look like rihanna’ yo mariah messy!” noted one user.
“Mariah the Scientist sharing the stage with Glo just a couple months ago, knowing she was on that call with Thug laughing at him disrespecting her is also weird,” said another.
Added another user: “Young Thug got alot of nerve calling anybody ugly let alone Glorilla like do you see how you look. Mariah The Scientist is just as messy because why you sitting on the phone laughing while your man talking down on another woman.”
