Tyrese Called Black Community ‘Fractured’

Last month, Tyrese went on “Club Shay Shay to disparage the Black community by stating Black people are fragmented. He also said that Jewish, Asian, White, and Latino communities are cohesive, which is why they’re “buying up everything.” Tyrese faced a slew of online backlash immediately after.

Katt Williams Dragged TF Out Of Steve Harvey

On his infamous “Club Shay Shay” appearance, Katt Williams had some unsavory words about Steve Harvey. He called Harvey a “country-bumpkin Black dude that can’t talk good and look like Mr. Potato Head.” Williams also claimed that Steve used to wear a wig, stole one of his ideas from comedian Mark Curry and that Williams runs laps around Harvey in terms of career.

Amanda Self Diagnosed Herself With Autism

On Sharpe’s show, comedian and actress Amanda Seales shared that she “was recently diagnosed as someone who has autism spectrum disorder which is very difficult to identify in Black women because of racism.” She later revealed she diagnosed herself, which prompted some to unfairly question the validity of Seales’ claim.

Gary Owen Embarrassed Shannon Sharpe

Gary Owen talked about Black women a lot as he chatted with Sharpe on his May appearance on “Club Shay Shay.” Owen also said that Shannon did not protect Black women—and Sharpe just laughed.

Shannon Sharpe Said Sorry To Megan Thee Stallion

In July, before he started his interview with Megan Thee Stallion, Sharpe issued an apology to the rapper for his sexual comments about her last year. “For any unwanted attention, harm, shame, embarrassment that I caused you or your family, I want to say as a man as I sit here before you, that I apologize,” he said to the “Savage” emcee.

Amanda Seales Spilled Tea About Issa Rae

Amanda Seales shared with Shannon Sharpe earlier this year that on the set of “Insecure” actress and creator Issa Rae didn’t empower her on the show. “She didn’t feel like I deserved to be protected,” she said. “I’m only giving a portion of the situation. But that was my experience. And nonetheless, I have still always protected her because I felt like it was my responsibility to do so. But it is not.”

Marlon Wayans Shared Why His Family Left ‘In Living Color’

On a recent “Club Shay Shay” appearance, actor Marlon Wayans revealed why he and his family left the classic sketch comedy show “In Living Color.” “I remember when we left “In Living Color” because Fox was syndicating the show and it was hurting Keenen’s pockets,” Wayans said. “Keenen was like, ‘Nah, you ain’t gonna do this to me.’ My family said, ‘F*** this money.’ And we all left [the show].”

Mo’Nique Read Tiffany Haddish For Filth

In 2018, Tiffany Haddish told GQ Magazine that she was grateful she didn’t have a husband like Mo’Nique’s influencing her career. Mo’ dragged her for dear life on the podcast earlier this year by stating to Sharpe: “Tiffany, if you had a husband like mine, you may not have two DUIs. If you had a husband like mine, you may not be caught up in what looks like you could have been grooming a child.”

Ray J Said Brandy Stopped Inviting Him To Family Gatherings

In June, singer Ray J shared why his famous sister Brandy stopped inviting him to family events. “Lately, even certain events that I think they’ve been having, I haven’t got the invite and I’m good with that, but I understand why,” he said. “And I’m here, but I haven’t lately because a lot of the sh*t I’m doing, it’s just a little more left field.”

Terry Crews Revealed Shocking Low Pay

In a March appearance on the podcast, actor Terry Crews told host Shannon Sharpe that he received $4,000 for his role in “Friday After Next” and “nothing” for “Training Day.” “I didn’t get zero [for ‘Training Day’], but it changed my life forever,” Crews explained.

“You wouldn’t know who I was if it weren’t for a no-paying job.”

Katt Williams Called Earthquake Illiterate

In Katt Williams’ viral “Club Shay Shay” appearance, he shockingly claimed comedian Earthquake doesn’t know how to read. “Why Earthquake not in movies?’ Cuz he’s illiterate,” Williams said. “He can’t read. And they found that out when they gave him a show and then put the cards in front of him.”

Earthquake later denied this claim.

Mo’Nique Bashed D.L. Hughley

On her “Club Shay Shay” appearance, Mo’Nique shared that her strained relationship with comedian D.L. Hughley started in 2022 when she was hired to headline a comedy show in Detroit. However, Hughley headlined instead. Mo’ also shared how her husband was disrespected on Hughley’s radio show when she was a guest. “We don’t cross the line when it comes to family,” she explained.

GloRilla Avoids Damian Lillard Question

Shannon Sharpe asked GloRilla about her relationship with NBA superstar Damian Lillard after she posted that she “wanted” the rapper on social media earlier this year. She also said one of Lillard’s suitors can’t “whoop” her and that she has no competition. “At the end of the day the day gon’ end,” Glo said when asked about their possible involvement.

Kel Mitchell Says Ex-Wife Impregnated By Several Men

Actor Kel Mitchell told Sharpe on his podcast interview in May that his ex-wife Tyisha Hampton “ended up getting pregnant by another guy” during their marriage. Mitchell also said that there were “other times” that Hampton had “gotten pregnant” by other men while they were together but he stayed anyway. Hampton later denied the claims.
