Ramona Singer Yet Again Says Racist Slur In Text

Singer apparently hasn't learned her lesson and was cut from BravoCon as a result.

Ramona Singer just keeps digging herself further and further into her racist holeโ€”and got cut from BravoCon as a result. Page Six says it reached out to Singer to discuss the explosive Vanity Fair article that was published, exposing her alleged instances of racism.

In an attempt to justify her behavior, Singer used a heinous slur again while texting a Page Six reporter. โ€œThe word I used was โ€˜NWordโ€™ Not n-gโ€ฆ,โ€ a screenshot from the publication revealed Tuesday.

Singer was scheduled to promote the new season of Real Housewives of New York at BravoCon, but now her name has disappeared from the agenda.

In 2021, Singer was investigated by Bravo after RHONYโ€™s first Black cast member Eboni K. Williams filed a complaint accusing her of racism. Bravo stated that the โ€œinvestigation was closed after nothing substantial was found.โ€

In the Vanity Fair article, Singer reportedly the N-word while talking with a Black crew member during production in 2020 and 2021. Former RHONY producer Darian Edmondsonโ€”who is Blackโ€”said Singer used the slur after filming a segment with Williams.

Singer allegedly said she didnโ€™t want to discuss race before asking Williams the ethnicity of her new love interest. Edmondson said that when the cameras stopped rolling, Singer told her the conversation with Williams was like when Jewish people called Singer a โ€œshiksa,โ€ which is Yiddish for non-Jewish woman.

Edmondson allegedly responded โ€œRamona, I have no idea what youโ€™re talking about.โ€ Singer allegedly then stated, โ€œOh, itโ€™s literally like somebody calling you a n****r.โ€

In addition, the story also included Singer allegedly telling a Black woman employee at Bravo: โ€œThereโ€™s so many of you guys here now, please donโ€™t change your hair as Iโ€™m not gonna be able to remember anybodyโ€™s names.โ€ Singer tried to justify it by saying it was โ€œstrictly a commentary on my inability to remember names.โ€

Even though the Housewives were told specifically not to perpetuate racist stereotypes on the showโ€”like Black fathers not being present in their childrenโ€™s livesโ€”Singer allegedly asked during the conversation: โ€œWhat if they donโ€™t have a father? Why canโ€™t I say that? Most of them donโ€™t.โ€

Singer was also accused of saying Black people were โ€œgonna ruin our show.โ€ In a written statement, she denied any wrongdoing. โ€œI stopped filming RHONY in February 2021. These accusations were all aired publicly in September 2021.

โ€œThese claims were investigated by the network back then and they found no basis for the claims. I stand by all my comments in the article. I am extraordinarily disappointed that Vanity Fair and Page Six felt the need to re-amplify this non-story.โ€

Sadly, it seems like Singer hasnโ€™t learned a damn thing.
