AJ, who goes by @Jizzle on TikTok, shared his experience going door to door as he usually does for work. He was reportedly “hand[ing] out information about neighborhood utility upgrades that people had already been notified about in the mail,” he said in a GoFundMe. But while most people might get annoyed when unexpected folks show up at their door, one white couple took things up to a racist notch.

An unidentified white woman opened the front door when AJ knocked. The man said she immediately looked upset, and that’s when he started apologizing. “I’m so sorry if this isn’t a good time. My name is AJ, and I’m the project manager for the upgrades in your neighborhood,” he allegedly told her. Despite trying to keep the mood light, AJ said the woman called for her husband, who allegedly escalated the situation.

“Her husband came running out, and before I could even step off their porch, he started screaming the N-word at me, yelling, ‘Get off my property! Get out of my neighborhood,’” AJ continued. Taking the very obvious clue, AJ turned to walk away, hoping this would be the end of the distasteful interaction. But instead, the couple began following him, prompting AJ to pull out his camera and start recording.

In the video, AJ can be see silently walking away while the couple continues to vomit racist remarks at him. “Come back again and I’m going to f*****g hang your ass,” the white man can be heard telling AJ. “It says no soliciting, ” he continued pointing to a sign in the yard.

Funny enough, AJ wasn’t soliciting or trying to sell the couple anything, but they didn’t want to hear that it seems from the viceo. “I wasn’t selling anything, just leaving information like I always do,” AJ said.

He did eventually call the police and showed the video of the racist verbal attack, but the officer said there’s nothing he could do about it. “So, there’s no crime committed as in an assault,” the officer told AJ. “I would just say the best thing is to just stay away from them.”

AJ has since posted the video to TikTok, and it has amassed thousands of views before it was taken down. AJ reposted the video, which sits at almost 14,000 views currently. “I was terrified for my life. I have a 4-year-old daughter to take care of,” AJ said.”And since this happened, I haven’t been able to bring myself to go back to work.”

A GoFundMe page to help financially support AJ and his daughter has been posted. It has garnered over $57,000 of the $70,000 goal.
