Weβre not to say whatβs too little of an amount of money over which to cause a ruckus. Though, it it worth wondering if this amount warranted a Florida employer being threatened at gunpoint by his previous employee, according to cops.
On the morning of July 22, Hillsborough County sheriffβs deputies responded to the 4400 block of Eagle Falls Place. Authorities said that inside Berkins Storage was 39-year-old Tito Evan-Lloyd, who allegedly brandished a concealed gun toward those inside.

Evan-Lloyd, a former driver with the company, was apparentlyΒ upset about a missing paycheck and confronted his ex-manager with the firearm, threatening to shoot the place up and everyone in it if he didnβt get his payout. That payout, to be specific, was $75.
Police said by the time deputies responded to the area, the suspect fled the scene. However, Evan-Lloyd was located at a residence on the 400 block of Royal Palm Empress Drive in Ruskin, 15 miles away.
He was then arrested and taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felon carrying concealed weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.
βIt is shocking that someone would resort to such extreme measures over a $75 matter. Violence and intimidation have no place in Hillsborough County,β said Sheriff Chad Chronister. βThe suspectβs actions were a serious threat to public safety, and our deputies did an outstanding job in bringing him into custody quickly.β
Jail records show Evan-Lloyd was released from custody after three days. Heβs been ordered by the court to have no contact with the store manager and stay away from the location of the offense, per court records. The incident is still under investigation.
