That’s the only response we had after spotting Ms. Fenty’s ensemble for a dinner out in New York City on Wednesday night, defying single-digit temps in an outfit that has us longing for spring (as if we weren’t already).

Proving that coats are for the weak, Rihanna hit the city streets seemingly wearing only a long, buff-colored blazer from Y/Project over her top half. (Okay, it was the brief stretch of city street between her car and the door of Japanese culinary experience—yes, experience—Kappo Masa, but still…brrr.) Using an as-always perfectly manicured hand to occasionally shield her bare cleavage, a few chains and a gold watch were her only other protection from the elements.

Also, that wavy shoulder-length bob? Every damned thing I want to rock this spring.

Of course, we couldn’t help but wonder if we were getting a tease of what Rih’s high-end clothing line will look like when it eventually drops—though as of press time, the source of the oyster-colored silky skirt (or seriously plunging slipdress) she was wearing remains unknown. But paired with a matching crocodile handbag by Fendi and strappy stiletto sandals by Manolo Blahnik, the effect was, to put it bluntly, a seasonal mindfuck, as much of the country sits shivering in a polar vortex. (Hi, from Chicago, btw. We’re nearly frozen solid, thanks for asking.)

But if anyone can make us feel the heat, it’s Bad Gal RiRi—though the only part of this outfit we’ll be attempting before temps hit at least 60 degrees is her Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored ($24—which is also the only part of this outfit we can readily afford). It’s a red for all shades—and thankfully, for all seasons.

Now, when will this one be over? *shivers*
