Mary J. Blige has had enough. Yesterday (Sep 8), the R&B singer got on X to say she is done dealing with ungrateful people: “It’s all about me now. I’ve done enough for the ungrateful,” the “Real Love” singer posted. And though the singer didn’t mention who she was talking about, the internet has some guesses.

Recently, Blige has been embroiled in a lawsuit with her best friend, Misa Hylton, a stylist and ex-girlfriend of disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs. Hylton sued the singer over the management and music of Vado, a Harlem rapper, after Hylton accused Blige of attempting to poach Vado from Hylton’s management, according to Rolling Stone.
So one common fan theory is that the singer could be talking about her former pal: “Hopefully, you and Misa can fix it. That’s 30 years of friendship,” one user wrote in the replies.
“It’s so sad to see everything with Misa, and y’all was so close all these years,” another user posted.
Other users theorized that the “Family Affair” singer could be talking about singer and actor Tyrese Gibson, who recently went on Instagram Live to say that he was hurt when Mary J. Blige passed on a collaboration with him.
“I’m disappointed that you didn’t do my song, but we got so much equity over all these years. I ain’t gon’ hold that to you,” the “Sweet Lady” said on Instagram Live.
“Auntie, don’t make Tyrese cry again,” one user wrote in Blige’s replies.
“Damn Tyrese, that feature ain’t happening unc,” wrote another user.
Another fan pointed out that Blige’s tweet is out of character for the singer’s typically quiet social media persona.
“Universally, everyone is clearly fed up cause one thing about Mary J Blige, she doesn’t address things lmao.”
The 54-year-old did not make any other posts to clear up who she could be talking about, but fans showed their support for Mary J. Blige anyway.
“Yes, you have Mary! Get ’em girl,” wrote one fan.
