The award, which was long overdue to be honest, is a fitting feat given the “On and On” singer’s affinity towards stunning, eclectic, unique and one-of-a-kind fashion looks. Whether she’s stunning in an intricate ensemble at the Met Gala or turning heads while being effortlessly cool at Paris Fashion Week, one thing you can’t deny is Badu’s dedication to bringing both herself and authentic sense of style to any occasion.

It’s because of that, we thought it’d be fitting to take a look at some of her best looks from over the years. So grab a glass or cup of something and enjoy these fire fits!
