Eddie Murphy, 54, is about to have an addition to his already large family. Murphy and girlfriend Paige Butler, 36, on Wednesday announced the upcoming birth of their child.

The baby, who will be Murphy’s ninth and Butler’s first, is expected to arrive in May.
Murphy and Butler, who have been dating for four years, were recently seen together in Washington, D.C., for the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center, where Murphy was honored with the top prize.
Murhpy’s other children are 26-year-old Eric, with Paulette McNeely, and 25-year-old Christian, with Tamara Hood. During his marriage to Nicole Mitchell, he had five children: Bria, 25; Myles, 22; Shayne, 21; Zola, 15; and Bella, 13. His youngest daughter, Angel, is from his short relationship with Spice Girl Melanie “Mel B” Brown.
Murphy definitely has a lot of virility and life.
Congrats on the upcoming baby, but a lot of us just want to know when he’ll be returning to stand-up.
