You know youβre wrong when your own family has to check you on your mess. Former President Donald Trumpβs nephew, Fred Trump III called his uncle out in a recent interview with ABC. During the interview, Trump III said βevery family has their crazy uncle. My Uncle Donald is atomic crazy.β
Trump III is promoting his memoir βAll in the Family,β where he details the βTrump wayβ and explains what led to him stepping away from the former president.

According to him, when his uncle was elected to office in 2016, Trump III saw it as an opportunity to use his uncleβs platform to advocate for the disabled. Instead, he said he was shocked when his uncle casually told him that people with disabilities ββshould just die.ββ
Trumpβs alleged comment especially hit home for Trump III whose son, William, was born with a rare genetic disorder causing severe developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Doubling down on his heartless sentiment, Trump allegedly told his nephew βyour son doesnβt recognize you.βΒ
He alleges the former president continued with, βlet him die and move to Florida.β Despite his outrage by his uncleβs comments, Trump III said that is who his uncle βhas become.β
Although it should go without saying that any form of ableism or racism should hold no place in society or at the top of one of the most powerful nations in the world, those who defend Trump say the former president is not prejudice.Β In fact, the Trump campaign denies all negative claims made by Trump III in his book, according to WFAA.
Despite his self proclaimed innocence, the GOP nominee has a long history of incendiary remarks towards minority groups like the disabled, and Trump III said the former presidentβs insensitivity didnβt just start when he took office.
During the ABC interview, Trump III also revealed his uncle used the n-word repeatedly when he was younger. Trumpβs nephew recalled a specific time at age ten, when he alleged Trump βabsolutelyβ used the n-word twice, even though the GOP candidate denies ever saying it.
Trump III went on to say he doesnβt think his uncle is a racist, but he said the former president is not afraid to use people, regardless of their skin color, as βprops.β
In another interview with The View, Trump III told viewers Vice President Kamala Harris has policies he can βget behind.β He said he would be voting for Harris come November, and if asked, he will campaign for her also.
