In a disturbing petition filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Doja Catβs motherβDeborah Sawyerβalleged that the starβs older brother verbally and physically abused her. Sawyer sought a restraining order and wanted to make sure that Doja would also receive protection.
A judge has partially granted the temporary restraining order and a hearing on Jan. 31 will follow. However, it was decided that there was βinsufficient good cause shownβ in seeking protection for Doja Cat as well. However, the βScarletβ artist could file her own order.
