Here’s a sweet Valentine Story. Usher Raymond is officially off the market, folks! After his legendary, star-studded performance at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show, according to People Magazine, he kept the good vibes going, by marrying his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea.

Here’s how it all went down. Rumors began swirling over the weekend when reporters found Usher’s marriage license registered in Las Vegas. However, he did not address the rumors as he was preparing for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, here’s the scoop. After the game, the two love birds got hitched at the drive-thru tunnel in Vegas’ The Fast Lane, according to People.

Usher changed out of his half-time gear and sported a black tuxedo with a huge white fur coat, and his signature sunglasses while his wife took the non-traditional route by wearing a beautiful white jumpsuit with a veil that reads “Mrs. Raymond 02.11.24.”

The witness for the intimate ceremony was his mother Jonetta Patton. Usher’s two sons with ex Tameka Foster, Usher V and Naviyd, and the two children he had together with his new wife, Sovereign Bo and Sire Castrello were also in attendance.

Today, the “Burn” singer posted pictures on his Instagram from the ceremony, including pictures of Goicoechea and the classy, cream-colored car that they rolled up to the chapel in.

Here’s some background: The couple began publicly dating around 2019, after his divorce from Grace Miguel in 2018. Goicoechea has been in the music industry for years, working with Ciara through a connection from her mother who is director of operations at ACT Productions, a production company. She has since worked as the director of the Rhythm & Soul department at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and now is the senior vice president of A&R at Epic Records.
