According to Page Six TV, Rye confirmed the split, saying: “We have and will always be friends. He is an amazing human being, and I’m a much better person because he’s a part of my life. May we all keep loving and living.”
Rye and Common started dating over the summer and were regularly seen on red carpets together, so it was not lost on industry insiders that Rye was not with Common at the Oscars; nor was she at the fourth annual Toast of the Arts event that Common himself hosted.
