Chicago Mother Allegedly Tried to Stab Children to “Make Them Go To Heaven”

The woman allegedly had plans to take out her whole family including herself.

A tow truck driver’s route through a Chicago neighborhood was halted after he ran into a group of toddlers bleeding on the sidewalk. Police claim their mother was behind their injuries but her motive was a desperate call for help.

Chicago police said last week they responded to the aftermath of a horrifying incident witnessed by DeVaughen Stringfellow. He said he was riding past a home on the 7100 block of South Harvard Ave when he saw a bleeding infant in the street. The man told police he got out of his car to attend to the child and was greeted by yet another child, waddling over to him dripping in blood, according to court documents obtained by FOX 32 Chicago. Police say 23-year-old Aurionah-Rakii-Karie Parker-White then walked outside with another child covered in blood, asking the tow truck driver to help her.

“I need help! Help me! My baby! I called the police! They didn’t come!” Stringfellow said Parker-White yelled, per WBBM.

Stringfellow also said the boy placed his injured arm on his mother to comfort her, telling her not to cry and that “it’s going to be alright,” per NBC Chicago

The man said he then put the children in his truck and took the family to St. Bernard’s Hospital. The children, a 1-year-old girl and 3 and 5-year old-boys had cuts to their wrists, prosecutors said.

When police took Parker-White into questioning, she allegedly admitted to stabbing her children in the wrist with a sharp object. In the midst of the interview, her motive was revealed and it wasn’t some violent vendetta she had against her kids. She explained she was stressed taking care of her children by herself and in a desperate attempt to gain some sort of relief, she made plans to take her life and that of her children, police say.

When police spoke to the 5-year-old boy, he said his mom told him she was going to make himself and his siblings “go to heaven.”

Friday, the mother was charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated battery to a child. Her children were last noted to be in serious condition, per FOX’s report.
