As we previously mentioned, Khan is one of four singing legends that make up the “Queen Tour,” which is also comprised of Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle and Stephanie Mills. The second leg of the highly popular tour is set to begin at the end of this week (Sep. 19). But before they all get back on stage and resume entertaining fans, it looks like Khan is already bringing some form of fun vibes to viewers at home as evidenced by a handful of new interviews.

Sitting down with “The Breakfast Club,” over the weekend, her candor and hilarious bluntness captured fans’ attention on social media. In particular, when discussing whether or not she had any cosmetic procedures done to enhance her look over the years like LaBelle and Mills (who both got nose jobs in the 80s), Khan made it perfectly clear that was one thing she wasn’t going for.

“Hell no…You could not cut me for nothing! she said.

Later on, she pushed back against women getting Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs) and asserted that her behind and figure has been looking great since the 60s.

In a separate interview on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, Khan “pleaded the fifth” when asked which singer did the best and worst covers of her iconic songs. (She ultimately said that Whitney Houston did the best cover with “I’m Every Woman” but declined to say who was the worst).

During a sit down with Deborah Roberts for ABC’s” Nightline,” Khan even appeared to be lowkey falling asleep and generally annoyed with a question centered around singing the aforementioned song after all these years. Later in that same interview, Mills mentioned that she and Khan favored each other aesthetically and while Khan’s reaction was sweet–it still lacked a level of enthusiasm.

In all those interviews however, Khan’s “I don’t give a d*mn” demeanor, candid answers and occasional cuss words were a standout in comparison to Mills and LaBelle’s more demure composures. And once those clips of the “Sweet Thing” singer began to circulate online, folks were quick to notice and subsequently give her hilarious props for it.

Over on TikTok, user Nish Stuck In the 90s, joked about Khan’s interviews, expressing her theory that the “Ain’t Nobody” really isn’t here for all the chatter and probably just wants to sing and get to the next tour stop.

“Chaka don’t wanna be there, Chaka don’t wanna be there, y’all. Y’all go ahead and do the press runs by y’all selves. Chaka [will] just see y’all at the shows,” they said. “She don’t have time for a bunch of stupid a*s questions, she don’t got the patience for a bunch of silly shit.”

TikTok user Kendall Johnson theorized that Khan’s answers and slightly annoyed appearance may be due to the fact that people were asking her silly questions and failed to really ask her something that could light her up or something that didn’t directly involve her musical side (like her meditation sessions).

“Chaka Khan does a whole lot more than music and she loves to talk about it,” he said.

For user Smart Girl Chay, she added: “Chaka Khan so damn funny. I love Chaka, I love Chaka Khan music, I love Chaka Khan personality.”

One user commented: “She’s dead serious that’s the funniest part she not even joking.”

“Everybody on that couch in the background looks like they’re holding their breath every time Auntie Chaka opens her mouth,” wrote one user on YouTube, followed by several laughing emojis.

“Chaka is that Aunt you don’t want ask questions.. cause she’ll hurt your feelings if you’re not ready for what she will say,” said another.

“Chaka need a podcast I’m dying to hear her read people,” one other user wrote.
