On Tuesday, Ella Mae Colbert sailed down the track at Chesnee Middle School in South Carolina, where she works as a volunteer, according to WYFF, clocking in at 46.79 seconds to beat the current record of 1 minute and 17 seconds for her age group.

All of this despite falling and scraping her chin during her first attempt. Colbert, relentless, just slapped a bandage over her wound and got right back on the track, according to Fox5NY.

The centenarian has reportedly been running since high school, making her very familiar with the track. Her 3-mile runs with her nephews and niece are what keep her so on point at her age, the news station notes.

Colbert’s nephew said that they have filed with the Guinness Book of World Records to make sure the time goes down in the books.
