Cardi B is taking to the Instagram comments section to clear up any speculation regarding the nature of her relationship with Offset and their divorce, as well as their pregnancy.
The rapper replied to a post on The Jasmine Brand’s Instagram account, saying that the conversation surrounding her estranged husband being “unsupportive” of her is “getting weird,” as Page Six reported.

“Ok this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids,” she wrote under the post. “Never in my career no matter what I went through I had friends or family go to the media sooo I don’t know who is this damn source going to people magazine...Even wit my filling I’m not askin for child support my claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one.”
As The Root previously reported, Cardi’s divorce from Offset hit the internet last week, the same day Cardi announced her third pregnancy. The divorce is “not something that happened overnight,” according to the original Page Six report. “They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable.”
The “I Like It” rapper took to Instagram to announce that she is expecting her third child, writing in the caption, “With every ending comes a new beginning” and sharing her gratitude.
“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
Cardi and Offset already share two children together, Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2. The rapper is reportedly working on maintaining primary custody of their children.
