In news that can only be described as “how unfortunate,” Cardi B and Offset are still at odds amidst their ongoing divorce. But sadly, it’s starting to affect how they raise their kids, and the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is getting all the way real about it.

As we previously told you, Cardi sat down with Gayle King for a “CBS Mornings” interview when she talked about her upcoming album “AM I THE DRAMA?,” her forthcoming fourth baby with boyfriend with NFL star Stefon Diggs and where she and Offset stand now.
Cardi made it perfectly clear that she’s tired of still being linked to the Migos rapper and that he’s someone she tries to have limited contact with.
“I filed for divorce a year ago. That should be very clear. I don’t deal with that, I don’t mess with that, I don’t have no contact with that,” she explained.
Cardi then revealed that she wished Offset was a better person so that they could come to a place where they could co-parent peacefully, but that’s not an option she sees as viable for where they are right now. She also said that the “T-Shirt” rapper has “hate in his heart” for her and that makes how they raise their kids challenging.
“I think he has some type of hate in his heart right now…I don’t know how long that’s gonna take for him but that’s always been my wish,” she said. “I get along with everybody that I dated. If we all move on, there shouldn’t be no animosity. Your life, my life. Separate.”
She added, “We should be able to raise kids. We should be able to ask each other questions. We should be able to be like, ‘Hey, look what one of the kids just did,’ ‘Look at this,’ ‘Look at the report card.’ We should be able to celebrate but it’s not about the kids. One thing I’m learning is it’s not about the kids.”
