Every single day, Candace Owens makes it a point to disrespect Black people to satisfy her following, and she managed to reach yet another new low: Owens defended the police officer who fatally shot Sonya Massey, and Cardi B had a few things to say about it.

βPolice officers are human beings, there are mistakes that happen,β Owens stated. βThe idea that now youβre going to use this situationβ¦to then try to make Black Americans believe that this happened simply because she was Black, is pointedly ridiculous.β

Owens, of course, ignoried the fact that Black Americans disproportionately die at the hands of law enforcement. In addition, she seemingly glazed over the fact Grayson has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and official misconduct.
This isnβt the first time Owens has villainized Black victims of police brutality. In 2022, she made a documentary called βThe Greatest Lie Ever Soldβ defaming George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement.
If Grayson is convicted of his chargers, he could receive 45 years to life in prison.
