Candace Owens Has MAGA Furious After Announcing Series Investigating Charlie Kirk’s Widow

After launching a new series investigating Erika Kirk, Candace Owens is getting dragged by MAGA sick and tired of all of the drama.

If there’s one thing conservative podcaster Candace Owens has mastered — it’s exactly which buttons to push to get the far-right upset! The latest drama centers around Owens’ long-standing beef with Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. But while the CEO of Turning Point USA continues to stay silent in the face of Owens’ attacks, the rest of the MAGA right are coming for Owens big time.

We previously told you Owens and Erika haven’t been seeing eye to eye since Kirk’s assassination back in September. This led to the women having a four-hour phone call, Erika doing a couple of shady interviews and Owens’ more explicit allegations concerning the widow’s alleged involvement in her husband’s death.

In latest news, Owens is stirring up controversy after posting a teaser trailer for her new investigative series called — wait for it — “Bride of Charlie.” The series, which premieres on Wednesday (Feb. 25), is set to take a deep dive into Erika and her rise as CEO of Turning Point USA after the assassination. But given Owens’ well-documented history of conspiracy theories and bashing Erika, many conservatives weren’t feeling it.

TV personality Meghan McCain was one of the first to speak out. She took to X calling Owens’ trailer “pure, unadulterated, f**king evil.” She continued, “Who in God’s name would put a woman whose husband was brutally assassinated in front of the entire world through this? I am so upset by this, I am just so deeply sorry Erika and her family have to be put through this.”

Seth Dillion, who is the CEO of a conservative news source called The Babylon Bee, asked, “What would Charlie have to say about this?”

Jewish conservative commentator Ben Shapiro even jumped into the conversation to talk about how “evil” Owens is in a 9-minute video. “Candace Owens… is an evil, twisted human being,” he said in the clip. Although Shapiro was once Owens’ boss, the two have been on rocky terms since Kirk’s killing.

In the new series, Owens is also expected to dive into the accusations of Israeli interference against her, which are believed to have contributed to Kirk’s shooting.

In response to the backlash and to the new series, a spokesperson for Owens told the New York Post, “We have no comment. The series will speak for itself, and you can watch the premiere episode.” Neither Erika nor any other representatives of Turning Point USA have spoken out about Owens’ attacks. The first episode of “Bride of Charlie: An Investigative Series” is out Wednesday (Feb. 25).
