Cam’ron Wasn’t Playing With Boxer Adrien Broner For Disrespecting His Female Podcast Co-Hosts

Fans are praising rapper and podcast host Cam’ron for his response to Adrien Broner’s unwanted comments to his co-hosts.

Cam’ron and Mase’s “It Is What It Is” podcast is known for its fun, unfiltered sports talk. But Cam wasn’t too thrilled with boxer Adrien Broner’s behavior as a guest on a recent episode. Barely 15 minutes into the interview, the super lightweight boxer made a string of inappropriate comments to co-hosts Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson and Arabia Tillery.

What Cam’ron did next set social media on fire.

The The conversation started on a light note, but things went left when the boxer began making comments directly to “Stat Baby.”

“I did not know you looked that good in person,” he said to her, as the cast laughed it off. “Thank you?” she replied. “‘Cause why does everybody tell me that? I don’t know how to take that.”

Cam’ron tried to steer the conversation back on track, but Broner doubled down, comparing the co-host to the singer Coco Jones, asking her weight, and suddenly blurting out, “I love you.”

As the conversation continued, Cam began to grow visibly irritated, especially when asking Broner questions. “I think you deflect when I ask a question,” he said, explaining that Broner kept hinting at wanting to speak but avoided giving a full answer. “If you don’t want to answer the question, it’s cool because you presented it, ’cause we were going to move on.”

Things grew more awkward when co-host Arabia Tillery came on camera. “If that’s Arabia, I’m Saudi.” The room burst into laughter, but Tillery seemed uncomfortable being in the spotlight.

Even after the conversation shifted to football, Broner began to hit on Wilson before stopping himself.

“I can’t talk,” he said. “You told me to stop — my bad, bro. You’re amazing,” speaking to Stat Baby.

At this point, Cam’ron had enough.

“All right. Hey, we’re going to have to ask you to go, my n****,” Cam’ron said calmly. “I’m going to pay you for your time for being here. I appreciate you, you know I love you, my n****.”

Cam’ron then pulled out a pouch of cash to pay Broner. Although Broner tried to explain himself, Cam wasn’t having it. “I told you the first time. But you can’t violate, bro,” he said. “I told you n***** boyfriends is here.”

Social media lit up after the release of the viral clip. “You know how ignorant you have to be when Cam’ron from Harlem is the mature one,” one X user wrote

Others praised Cam for how he handled the situation. “Really glad Cam stepped in there,” Jemele Hill wrote on Threads. “What some men don’t understand is that women will be wholly uncomfortable and try to laugh their way through it because men don’t handle rejection well.”

Another summed it up, “Cam so fire. Pulled out his wallet, paid the talent, and told him to wait outside.”
