Things just reached a whole new level of petty in the ongoing feud between Cam’ron and actor Omar Gooding — and it’s all for laughs.

In 2025, Cam’ron might be the only person who can out-petty 50 Cent… and he’s got all the receipts to prove it.
The online chaos kicked off when Omar fired back at Cam’ron after the rapper mangled his name on an episode of his podcast “It Is What It Is” with Ma$e. Cam’ron apparently added a ‘Jr.’ to Omar’s name, a title that actually belongs to his younger brother, Cuba Gooding.
According to Cam, this prompted Omar to make “three diss tracks” about him — which came as a shock to many, seeing as most didn’t even know the actor made rap music.
But hold onto your seats, because this is where the petty gets insane.
“I booked the n*gga for a movie that’s never coming out,” Cam, 49, told his fans in a viral Twitter video that’s racked up over 4 million views. “Yeah, Omar. That movie you flew to Miami for? It ain’t no movie coming out. I booked you. And I was laughing at you behind the scenes, I was there,” he teased. “You was in a room full of n*ggas that was my n*ggas.”
The “Touch It or Not” rapper then cut to behind the scenes footage of Omar who appeared to be signing paperwork, reviewing a script, having his wardrobe tended to, brushing his hair, and acting in a movie scene. While the actor was doing push-ups in the clip, Cam was sitting back watching the footage on his TV screen. “N*gga really think he in a movie,” the rapper said while sipping tea. “Do ya pushups!” he poked.
He continued: “What Imma start doing is paying n*ggas just to laugh at them. It cost me $3,500 to do everything to book you — your hotel, your flight, all of that. It costs me $13,000 just to go to the NBA game. I just rather laugh at you for $3,500. Be careful. This [is] my new sh*t, it’s called book my opps.”
Whew! The fans could not get enough, running to the comments section to get their giggles on. “50 would be proud,” one fan jokingly complimented.
“New York nuggas are the pettiest nuggas on the planet,” a second said alongside laugh emojis. “And continued to call him Omar Gooding Jr. in the recap video is hilarious,” another added. “OMG it’s no coming back from this one,” a fourth fan said. “And you sipped tea?! MAAAAD PETTYYYYYY!!!” another exclaimed.
That said, some fans were wondering what the big deal was after all, saying the joke’s on Cam because in the end, Omar got paid anyways. “Omar won… he got paid to do nothing,” one opposed. “So you gave him money,” a second quipped. “Petty but he still got 7500,” a third wrote. “3500 definitely could of been used fa sum else,” another shook their head.
While an online squabble between Omar and Cam was not on our bingo card for 2025, we’re definitely enjoying the ride. And hey, now we know Omar Gooding makes rap music. Who knew?
