“Run the World” actor Bresha Webb, 39, announced that she will be giving birth to a baby girl at her gender-reveal party this past weekend!

Webb married her husband Nick Jones Jr., a writer and producer, earlier this year in a celeb-filled ceremony (including Kelly Rowland as a bridesmaid and Deborah Cox serenading her before walking down the aisle) and announced her pregnancy in November.
She took to Instagram to post her Clearblue positive test with the caption, “Surprise! Surprise! We’re pregnant! I’m so excited to announce we have a bun in the oven! Baby Jones coming April 2024!”
Overall, she explained in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that she wasn’t rooting for a particular sex of the baby but was rather focused on the health of the baby. Webb is already a stepmother to Jones’ seven-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, named McKenzie. Webb acknowledged that McKenzie was hoping for a baby girl saying, “I would love a girl because I know that’s what my daughter would love. So I would love to have her have a sister, but I just want healthy and happy and a really great delivery.”
When Webb and Jones found out that they were expecting they gave McKenzie a gift, a crown, and a T-shirt that reads, “I’m about to be a big sister!”
In the interview, she also spoke about how the little one feels even more special after she lost her father a little over a year ago, telling PEOPLE, “I really feel like he wants me to realize that life is so beautiful in every place in creating life, giving life, and I think the baby’s going to be like a guardian angel. He’s going to be there for the whole process.”
In a video posted by one of her best friends and actor, Angel Tanksley, Webb, McKenzie, and Jones do the classic cake-cutting reveal, which is revealed in the end to have pink frosting in the middle. Webb jumps up and down in excitement and cries as she opens a box with pink baby clothes.
